What is the New Communities Fund?
The New Communities Fund is committed to creating a sense of belonging and collaboration within the new expanding areas in Milton Keynes.
It provides essential funding for the creation of new charities, community groups or projects which encourage community cohesion in the New Communities of Milton Keynes.
Broughton Gate and Brooklands (Eastern Expansion Area)
Strategic Land Allocation (south-east of the city)
Tattenhoe Park and Kingsmead South
Whitehouse and Fairfields (Western Expansion Area)
The Fund Supports Community Projects That:
Benefit the Local Community

Promote Voluntary Effort
We encourage projects that inspire residents to contribute their time and skills.
Encourage Community Involvement
The goal is to support projects that create a sense of connection and belonging.
Community-Driven Design
We prioritise projects developed in collaboration with the residents they aim to serve.
Before Applying for Funding:
Applications for the Milton Keynes New Communities Fund are reviewed by a panel based on our Grants Policy.
