MK Community Foundation Seeks New Gymnastics Provider for Facility in Kingston

The gymnastics centre in Kingston has played an important role in the lives of thousands of local people over many years. As custodians of the facility, MK Community Foundation wants to ensure it continues to deliver lasting benefit for the community for generations to come.

With this in mind, we will be seeking a new operator for the facility when the current lease ends. We are looking for new and existing organisations with experience of managing a gymnastics, sports, leisure or similar specialist facility. Our aim is to secure a sustainable future for gymnastics provision in Milton Keynes while supporting a vibrant and accessible community facility.

Our statement about MK Gymnastics 

Milton Keynes Community Foundation has been proud to support MK Gymnastics for the past 26 years, providing more than £1 million in rent subsidy at our gymnastics centre in Kingston.

Following careful consideration, our Property Committee has decided not to offer a new lease when the current agreement comes to an end in February 2027.

The current lease and rent subsidy will remain in place until that date, meaning there will be no impact on MK Gymnastics' ability to continue operating in the meantime. We remain in regular conversation with the charity’s management team and trustees as they plan for the future.

We wish MK Gymnastics every success in its next chapter and hope it is able to secure premises that support its future ambitions and development.

Other groups working in the space

We’re in contact with subtenants of MK Gymnastics, including Trampolining Club and Paramount Parkour. We welcome any group or organisation currently using the gymnastics centre to contact us to discuss their circumstances and explore possible alternative options.
