Surviving Winter - Call for grant applications

We're looking for local charities or groups who help people in MK who are struggling in the winter months.

As well as our usual funding, we sometimes have extra money available for projects that meet specific criteria. We are currently looking for Micro Grant (Up to £200) and Small (Up to £1,500) applications for projects meeting the following criteria.

The ‘Surviving Winter’ campaign supports some of the most disadvantaged people as the cold nights draw in. As heating bills are ever increasing, it can be difficult for some people, especially the elderly, to stay warm and safe within their own homes, and difficulties may be faced with saving enough money for food and other necessities.

Many of the people who need help are often isolated socially; without the help from friends or family, it is vital that these people can receive the support they so desperately need and deserve.

The primary aim of the Surviving Winter Fund is to help vulnerable people who are unable to pay for essential items or services relating to keeping warm and safe over the winter months.

We're looking for local charities or groups who help people in MK who are struggling in the winter months.

If you meet the above criteria you can apply for this funding through our normal Micro and Small application forms.
