Meet Ranjit Singh, one of our Philanthropy Managers. Ranjit oversees grant applications in the Vital Signs areas of Housing, Transport and The Local Environment. Ranjit manages our membership programme, both corporate and individual and is currently working on a new membership scheme encouraging wider involvement across the community.
Some of the project highlights of Ranjit's Year include:
MK Friends Club
To fund the cost of two coaches for an educational trip to Westminster for families from Milton Keynes, who cannot afford to educate their children on politics. The trip will give an opportunity for the children to understand more about how the British Parliamentary System operates.
Haversham & Little Linford Parish Council
To fund a skate ramp for young people and adults, for people who enjoy skate boarding, BMX cycling and scooters. The facility will provide opportunities for new participants to get involved in the sports and will have a positive impact on the resident’s physical and mental health.
To fund a three course meal for people in Milton Keynes who are homeless and who live in poverty that will be held in the Lakes Estate. The meal is prepared to restaurant quality and guests receive table service.
