MK Community Foundation Land Sites
We have 24 plots of land available for development in Milton Keynes.
MK Community Foundation were endowed plots of land by the Milton Keynes Development Corporation in the 1990's to be used for community purposes in Milton Keynes.
These plots have been used by a variety of local charities working to improve local lives.
Ensuring Community Development
The land has been endowed to the Foundation to support community development activities only.
Our maintenance throughout the year and the annual vegetation tidying operations are carried out to ensure the land remains available to support future community development when an appropriate use is found.
We are obliged to maintain our sites for future development, to which we have employed expert contractors to carry out this work.
As the year continues, we will be increasing the amount of grass cuttings being carried out on the land, as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining our sites.
Land Available
We still have land available and would like to hear from you if you have a great idea for a development and fit our eligibility criteria below.
Eligibility Criteria:
Groups must be not-for-profit, and either registered charities or local authority bodies.
Groups must show they have clear plans for the development, and that the development would be appropriate use of MK Community Foundation Land.
Groups applying must have experience of delivery of large scale projects
Groups have experience of fundraising for large scale projects
MK Community Foundation Land cannot be:
developed by an individual, or by a profit-making company
used for housing or residential buildings (even if charitable in nature)
used for projects or activities that will not directly benefit the people of Milton Keynes.
