Thank you for joining our Heart Campaign...

We were delighted by the response to this year's campaign, with your help we raised over £7,000. 

It was very encouraging to see how much time, imagination and effort was taken to show support for your city.  We extend grateful thanks to all of you.

Here's how you did it...
The campaign got off to a great start with the Ultimate Beatles Benefit Gig on Jan 31st, and our collections at the MK Dons, MK Lions and thecentre:mk were generously supported.  Combined with donations from groups and individuals who have formed hearts this year, this collective effort has helped us improve on last year's camapign by almost £3,000. 

The Open University gathered outdoors to form a giant heart (right), this was definitely the biggest heart we received this year. You can see more of this year's entries on our Heart Page.

The Heart Campaign runs in February and is part of the Foundation's 3 year government programme for Milton Keynes called the Grassroots Grants Endowment Challenge. It's aim is to generate long-term funds for grass-roots activities in the local community.  This initiative runs until June 2011.

Grassroots Grants: The Power to make lasting change

Between now and 2011 we are aiming to raise a £1million fund for the city through this programme. This is a very local campaign which relies entirely on the support of the local people who care about Milton Keynes.  Your gift, big or small, will enable us to raise this fund.
