Lorna Liggett, community affairs manager for Home Retail Group said, "As the largest employer in Milton Keynes, Home Retail Group is committed to supporting key development projects where we feel we can really make a difference.  Working in partnership with the Milton Keynes Community Foundation, provides us with the expertise and support required to ensure our £20,000 donation for the coming year really does make a positive contribution to those who need it most in our local community.  Through the launch of the Home Retail Group Fund, we will be actively seeking inspiring projects that have a lasting effect on the lives of families and individuals in Milton Keynes."

Regarding the launch of the Foundation’s latest Named Fund, marketing and fund development manager, Lisa Russel adds, “As the work of the voluntary sector in the city continues to develop and as Milton Keynes continues to grow, the need for support in our communities is greater than ever.  We look forward to developing this new partnership and to reporting on the first grants made from the fund in the new financial year
