HANSLOPE VILLAGE HALL TRUST
Awarded £3,000.00 from the Brighton Acorn Fund
This grant is towards the costs for repairs to the village hall's roof and improvements to the external pathways.

SCOPE
Awarded £2,404.00 from the Margaret Powell Fund
To purchase a number of computers to enable  8 -12 disabled people who use the service daily to gain new IT skills and access the internet.

MILTON KEYNES YMCA
Awarded £5,000.00 from the Koss Fund and Community Fund
Between December 2011 and March 2012 the YMCA will run a winter emergency accommodation service in partnership with local churches and volunteers.

HEADWAY MILTON KEYNES
Awarded £3,000.00 from the Margaret Powell Fund
Funding will enable Headway Milton Keynes to continue to provide professional therepeutic activities for service users  to improve wellbeing, motor and spacial awareness.

MAYBE MAGAZINE
Awarded £5,000.00 from thecentre:mk Fund and NHBC Fund
This grant is for 'I need a platform' a project that will support 45 young people aged between 16 to 24 years in Milton Keynes, produce and present an innovative musical platform to showcase their talents.

SPECTRUM ARTS MK
Awarded £3,000.00 from the Community Fund
To support subsidised places for young people on the arts summer  Summer School to be run at the Ridgeway Centre, Wolverton.

THE MIDDLE EASTERN CULTURAL GROUP
Awarded £5,000.00 from the Community Fund
This grant will  pay for the set up costs of a Language Supplementary School in Milton Keynes for children where at least one parent is of Arab origin or speaks Arabic.

MK PREGNANCY CRISIS CENTRE
Awarded £4,444.00 from the Community Fund
Baby Basics are to move to a dedicated premise. This grant  is to pay for  the shelving, storage boxes and cleaning equipment needed to make the space function.

DECEMBER 2011

MILTON KEYNES RETIRED & SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
Awarded £500.00 from the Arts Fund
This grant will provide funds for materials for the three arts clubs run by RSVP.

LITTLE BRICKHILL PARISH COUNCIL
Awarded £1,200.00 from the Grassroots Fund
To pay to inject damp proofing to 3 of the exterior walls of Little Brickhill's Village Hall.

FISHERMEAD TRINITY CENTRE
Awarded £1,500.00
This grant will  support equipping the centre's kitchen to enable them to run an internet cafe.

CAN DO:MK
Awarded £1,000.00 from the MK DAS and Grassroots Fund
Can Do MK is a community group working working with over 18s in Milton Keynes who are living chaotic lives for many reasons including homelessness, drugs, alcohol and mental health.

TRAINING GRID
Awarded £1,500.00
To support an administrator post as they develop a programme of short 'change your life' course on behalf of a range of partners who include  MK Mind, Relate, Brook and Women and Work.

UK MAKKAL SANGAM
Awarded £600.00 from the MK Cultural Citizenship Fund
This grant will fund a one day celebratory event at the Ridgweay Centre, in January 2012.

SHENLEY UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB
Awarded £1,471.00 from the NHBC & thecentre:mk Fund
This funding will enable this newly set up football club to purchase training equipment, subsidise fees for underpriviledged children and support match pitch costs.

AFRICAN COMMUNITY TRUST
Awarded £1,000.00 from the MK Cultural Citizenship Fund
This grant will pay for a training course in Mentoring for 10  volunteers.
