Deadlines for Applications

If you have never applied to the Foundation, please complete the checklist on the Are you Eligible? page and we will contact you to advise the next step.

Please note that our deadline dates may change from time to time, we would advise you to check this page regularly for the latest news on grants.

SMALL GRANTS

Small Grants should be submitted by the last Friday of each month and applications are accepted until the end of the working day (5pm Mon-Thurs & 4:30pm Fri). A decision meeting is held within two weeks of the application deadline.

COMMUNITY GRANTS

Community Grants are accepted until the end of the working day (5pm Mon-Thurs & 4:30pm Fri). Forthcoming deadlines are as follows:

2007/08
Friday 25 January 2008  - Grants Committee Meeting on Thursday 20 March 2008
2008/09
Friday 4 April 2008 - Grants Committee Meeting on Thursday 22nd May 2008
Friday 30 May 2008 - Grants Committee Meeting on Thursday 17 July 2008
Friday 29 August 2008 - Grants Committee Meeting on Thursday 16 October 2008
Friday 24 October 2008 - Grants Committee Meeting on 11 December 2008
Friday 23 January 2009 - Grants Committee Meeting on 19 March 2009.

DEVELOPMENT GRANTS 2008-09
The 3-Stage application process is as follows:

StageOne
Groups are invited to submit a two-page Expression of Interest Form and Business Plan. The Foundation will process the applications, confirming eligibility and the short-list that will be taken through to Stage 2. 

The Deadline for Expression of Interest this year will be Monday 21 July 2008.Groups that are unsuccessful in reaching Stage 2 will be contacted by the beginning of September 2008.

Stage Two
Expressions of Interest that are successful in reaching Stage 2 of the process will be assessed in greater detail and will be taken to a decision meeting of the Grants Committee. A maximum of 6 groups will be selected by the Committee to submit detailed applications following this meeting.

This year's Stage Two Decision Meeting will be held on 25th September 2008.

Stage Two
Groups that are successful in Stage 2 ( a maximum of 6) will be invited to submit detailed applications (Short-listed groups will be contacted with the due date for these applications).

The detailed applications will be taken to a final Grants Committee Meeting, scheduled for
26th February 2009. A decision on funding will be made in this meeting, and both successful and unsuccessful groups will be contacted within one week.

Development Grants 2007-08
NB. The final Grants Committee Meeting for pending applications for 2007-08 is scheduled for 21st February 2008.
A decision on funding will be made in this meeting, and both successful and unsuccessful groups will be contacted within one week.
