Project Visits - A Great Way to see the Work we Do...
The Foundation organises an annual schedule of visits to the community projects that have received funding through our grants programme - if you would like to join us on any of these visits, please complete an Enquiry Form and we will get in touch.
The programme of visits for 2007 is available from our Fund Development Officer, Kerry Arthur, and we are also more than happy to organise a visit especially for your staff - contact us on 01908 690276 or by using the enquiry form to discuss this further.
Feedback from visit attenders has been tremendous, as the project visits give you the opprtunity to see first-hand the difference your donation to the Foundation can make for local groups.
Speaking of his project visit to Willen Hospice, Bob Harland of Abbey National said:
"I'm just so grateful fpr the opportunity to see for myself some of the totally unselfish caring that takes place there - and in such wonderful surroundings. The overview and tour given to us was illuminating and really did help to dispel some of the myths surrounding the work. The dignity afforded both patients and families alike is so apparent from being there for just a short time. I'm even more aware too of of the enormous responsibilities that the management and staff have and, of course, the never-ending requirement for wholly justified and wholly worthwhile funding. Thank you again for this opportunity."
