To take the business forward and achieve our ambitions for 2012 and beyond, we are seeking exceptional people to join our team and make a significant impact on the growing community of Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes Community Foundation is an independent charity that:

•    Inspires philanthropy in people and organisations to support our local communities
•    Champions the work and changing needs of our voluntary sector
•    Provides long term support through our grant-making and property portfolio
 

DONOR SERVICES ASSISTANT

Salary Range: £14,000 - £15,000 pa, dependent on experience

(This includes 5% pension contribution, on successful completion of a probationary period).

 

 An exciting and pivotal role within the Community Foundation has arisen for an individual who is passionate about our work and has exceptional interpersonal skills, charisma, energy and empathy towards community needs.

 

Initially this is a two and a half year post, with MK Community Foundation, supporting the Development Manager’s role with corporate and family giving, a programme of events, communications and donor relationships. A significant part of the role will be to support a new Philanthropy Fellowship across the Thames Valley Area with our partner Community Foundations. You will need to be highly motivated, organised and efficient with excellent writing, administration, data base and IT skills.

GRANTS MANAGER

Up to £24K (dependent on experience)

(This includes an additional 5% towards pension contribution, following completion of a six month probationary period)

 

This post is key to the smooth running of the grants to lead and manage an agreed grant making programme.  The post holder will co-ordinate, administer, assess and evaluate the Community Foundation’s grant programmes, bursaries and property subsidy applications, write reports and support the Grants Director in working with  our Community Representatives with various activities including grants committee meetings.  You will advise voluntary and community groups in making applications as well as promote grants and bursaries. 

 

This is an exciting and pivotal role and it is essential you have the passion for working with the voluntary sector and linking with the Community Foundation’s philanthropy activities. You will bring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, charisma, energy, and empathy towards community needs, be highly organised, target driven with very good IT and presentation skills. You will embrace and enjoy working in an interesting and fast paced environment.
