SURVIVING WINTER GRANTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO HELP VULNERABLE & OLDER LOCAL PEOPLE
Is your charity or organisation supporting vulnerable or older people struggling to survive this winter?
Our Surviving Winter Appeal has generated funds to now distribute for vulnerable people facing winter-related crises and concerns. Grants of up to £1,500 to be spent on winter related needs are available to local charities and organisations working with vulnerable people who have the capacity to purchase and distribute critical items such as:
• Blankets/duvets/bedding, portable heaters, electric blankets, warm clothing, emergency food and draft proofing etc
Grants could also be available to provide:
• Means to prevent winter-related social isolation & mobility
eg transport costs
• Means to prevent winter-related health concerns amongst vulnerable groups.
