Debbie was born in Northampton and grew up living next door to the family business on Olney High Street. She was educated at Bury Lawn School in Newport Pagnell and then later at St Andrews School in Bedford. Leaving at 16 to go to Mander College in Bedford to study A Levels in English and Sociology. Upon leaving college Debbie worked for a year before becoming a student at the Cordon Bleu School in Marylebone Lane, London.
Starting her career, Debbie worked as a private chef travelling the world to work for celebrities and families, some of her former employers include Ex King Constantine and Queen Anne Marie of Greece as well as Lord Yehudi Menuhin. There were regular celebrities for dinner including former West Indian cricket captain Sir Vivian Richards, HRH the Princess Royal, HRH the Princess of Wales as well as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Debbie was elected onto Milton Keynes Council in 2006 to represent the Olney ward and has been a member of the Licensing and Regulatory committee, vice chair for the past 2 years, as well as serving on the Learning and Development Policy Development Committee and the Standards Board.
When not involved in council work Cllr Brock has interests in Antiques, classic cars, driving her 1955 Austin Healey 104 as well as cycling, notably completing a 400 km sponsored cycle ride along the River Nile in Egypt raising money for the charity Women for Women with its patron Professor Sir Robert Winston.
She married Cllr Peter Geary in 2006 who later became her fellow ward councillor in the Olney ward and they have an 18 month old daughter.
