Our Community Car Raffle continues to be our most successful annual fund raiser, it has been running in Milton Keynes now for 21 years. It is a unique event which combines the loyalty of the event sponsors Volkswagen Group UK ltd and thecentre:mk with the hard work of the local charities and community groups who sell the tickets.

The Winning Number's were drawn on Wednesday 3rd March at The Milton Keynes Theatre by the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (pictured to the right).
Caractacus Potts, played by Darren Bennett was delighted to do the draw "As the owner of the world's most fantasmagorical car, Chitty I'd like to say congratulations to the lucky winner of this fantastic prize. Well done."

A fantastic £32,475 was raised in ticket sales this year. 
At least 50% of the ticket sales will go directly to the groups who sold tickets and the remainder goes into the Foundation's grant-making fund for the benefit of the wider community. 94 community groups and charities took part this year and the Maka-Pinoy Club sold the most tickets. Thank you to all of this year's ticket sellers who worked very hard over the Christmas shopping period to maximise ticket sales. Thank you also to thecentre:mk and Volkswagen for ensuring this year's event ran so smoothly.

The car will be presented to this year's lucky winner at the presentation at Volkswagen in Blakelands on 13th April.
